Carolyn Ladner

Treasurer, CFO

Carolyn Ladner is a member of the Board of Cutting Edge Foundation. She attended Lone Star High School in Collins, Mississippi and graduated from the University of Houston, Houston, Texas with a BBA Degree in 1952. She also attended Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas earning a number of hours toward a Masters degree in Social Work.

Mrs. Ladner is part owner/business manager of Ladner Forestry Consulting, Inc. with her husband, Joe Ladner. Additionally, she has been a Hospital Administrator for San Augustine Memorial Hospital, San Augustine, Texas and has been employed with the Texas Department of Human Resources as a Child Placement Specialist. Mrs. Ladner was an accountant for San Augustine Drug and Gifts, Inc., as well as a Business Education Teacher at Purvis High School, Purvis, Mississippi. While a student at the University of Houston, she was secretary to the Director of Admissions.

She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of San Augustine, Texas. She has been Secretary/Treasurer of the Commission on Missions at the church, member of the Finance Committee and Sunday School teacher for children, youth and adult departments. She has also worked in the church office.

Regarding her Christian mission experience, she has supported missionaries through the church “Faith Promise” program that supports missionaries around the world and has served on the Commission on Missions. She and her husband know many missionaries personally, sharing their home with them as they return to the annual Missions Conference to share their stories and what the Lord has accomplished through them. She has also worked with Child Evangelism Fellowship in Mississippi. Mrs. Ladner is a member of the Auxiliary of The Gideons International whose responsibility is presenting Bibles and personal testimonies to Health Care workers in hospitals, nursing homes and physicians’ offices.
